Seafood Sam’s is a year-round full-service dining spot known for its fried seafood has three outposts across Cape Cod in Falmouth, South Yarmouth, and Sandwich. The Sandwich location is perfectly situated just before the Sagamore Bridge, offering a perfect oasis from daily Cape traffic during summer months and an easy destination for the rest of eastern Massachusetts during any other season.

What To Order

 When it comes to the food, they have weekly specials by location, so be sure to check out their website to get a glimpse of those before you order. If you’re sticking with the main menu, the Fried Combo Platter is almost always a safe bet, giving you the seafood options of your choice. If you’re feeding a crowd, definitely just grab the Family Fish Fry, which gives you plenty of food and a little of everything. The fried clams and lobster rolls (hot and cold) were both solid finds and we’ll absolutely be stopping for another round the next time we need a break from Cape traffic. 

Where to Go

Nearby, the Cape Cod Canal is the main attraction, especially since it sits on the far end of the parking lot. We took our food to a picnic table overlooking the canal and enjoyed watching the bikers ride by while chowing down. Up the street, the Sandwich Boardwalk is extremely popular, and rightfully so with the Marsh River flowing underneath and its offering of passage to the beautiful Town Neck Beach. Just across Scusset Harbor sits the Scusset Beach State Reservation, with a beautiful jetty walk worth taking. There’s plenty to do around Seafood Sam’s. Just grab your food to-go and eat it anywhere along the water.
